Piedmont Medical Research would like to invite you to participate in a clinical research study of an investigational medication for Type 2 Diabetes. To be eligible, you must:
* Be at least 18 years of age
* Have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes for at least 6 months
* Not be on insulin (FDA approved insulin will be added on during the study.)
* Be on stable, daily dose of Metformin (at least 1500 mg/day) for at least 3 months (May also be taking other anti-diabetic medication)
Qualified participants will receive study-related care and study medication at no charge. Financial compensation may also be available up to $505 for time and travel expenses.
