Back in 1969, city officials of Winston-Salem buried a time capsule to celebrate the opening of the Thruway Theater the downtown area. This is an original photo, probably a government sanctioned one or one on file for the Winston-Salem Journal. The dedication was covered by local NBC affiliate. WSJS.

Fifty years later, to the date, the time capsule was opened, containing cassette tapes, prediction letters for 2019, and other items.

This original photo measures 8 x 10 inches. Some of the corners have a little wear, but it has no effect on the photo itself.

Because I live in Michigan, I will be happy to ship the photo so it can return home.
