Probably made around 1850-1860 in the Southern US
Posts are fluted and tapered solid mahogany, headboard is book-matched solid panels
Side and foot rails veneered (missing pieces of veneer on all rails)
Hand made bolts; Roman numeral locators on posts
Includes original and replacement slats
Frame measures 63" wide x 79" long, posts are 88" tall and 5" square at corners
