This pair of Kef Reference TWO are in black ash finish (real veneer) and are in amazing condition. All drivers work... Grills are perfect... there are two woofers in an internal cabinet firing through the front port. They are 65 lbs each. These are very efficient and play quite loud while having the Kef Reference sound quality. I have them set up in a nice system for demo.
According to Audio magazine buyers guide, these speakers were $2500 in 1997, equivalent to $5100.00 in today's money.
This was the last series of product designed by Andrew Jones before he left Kef after this series debuted. Afterwards, he moved on to Infinity, then to Pioneer and TAD. Next, he designed for ELAC and most recently for MoFi speakers. This month, he will reveal at Axpona, his own company with a new speaker called the Troubadour.
Includes gold feet and spikes. Please contact me for any information.
One of the pictures was altered to hide my equipment, kinda weird looking, first time I have tried this.
