On Friday, Oct. 10 at 11am our family is traveling to Salisbury, NC to hold a small memorial service for my mother, who passed away at 95 after living a very full life. Since she outlived many friends and family, this will be a brief gathering of around 15 to 20 people. My mother asked that the “Hymn of Promise” be performed at her memorial service. I am offering $60 to someone local to the Salisbury area who will perform the song early in the service. You may depart immediately after performing. If interested please email and I will provide a phone number with a request that you text a video of you singing that hymn. The service will be held in the cemetery outdoor pavilion. My mother’s ashes will be laid to rest with my father, who was a career military officer and war veteran.
