A remote bookkeeper can’t check your mailbox for you, can’t cut your checks and mail them, can’t take your deposit to the bank, can’t file your papers in your filing cabinet. A remote bookkeeper can’t sit down with you every month and go over your financials, explain what’s behind the numbers, and dig deeper to get answers to help you run your business better. A remote bookkeeper isn’t part of your vibrant team in your sunny, busy office, helping provide the value to the community that your booming business provides. A remote bookkeeper doesn’t know your customers or vendors and can’t help you build relationships through consistent, positive, professional transactions with a smile and heartfelt appreciation. A remote bookkeeper can’t help you manage your cash flow, knowing when a bill or two might have to wait until that big cash receipt comes in.
I can do all of that and more!
I’m a top-notch, full-charge, in-person bookkeeper with all the traits you want in a bookkeeper: a stickler for accuracy, obsessive attention to detail, the highest of high standards of integrity, the ability to wrangle technology into submission, telling the truth even if it’s a hard truth, and an old-school attitude about excellent customer service.
I’m much more affordable than you would think. Not because my hourly rate is low, but because I’m FAST, and I only bill you for the hours I work. No payroll taxes, no expensive benefit packages, no paid time off. And I don’t stick around a minute longer than I have to to get the job done right; I have better things to do than waste your money or my time.
I currently have room for ONE special client in Elkin, Yadkinville, Wilkesboro, Dobson, or Mount Airy* that needs nine or ten hours per week (perhaps with extra time at the beginning to do whatever catch-up needs doing and learn your systems). Keep in mind that my nine or ten hour week is usually about the equivalent of a full-time back office person.
I specialize in Sage 50 and a free non-cloud-based accounting program called Manager, but of course I work in QuickBooks Desktop/Enterprise, QuickBooks Online (though I wouldn’t recommend it), and many other accounting applications also. I understand accounting programs at the database level, and I haven’t met one I couldn’t master.
Call, text, or email me right away; this slot won’t last. I look forward to hearing from you and working with you!
Deborah
* I have a small farm in Jonesville, NC, and unless you want to buy some pastured pork, I’ll be coming to your office to work and am willing to travel up to 35 miles. Yes, hiring me has the added benefit of helping support a small, local, regenerative farm.
