If I didn't think this could be fixed cheap, I wouldn't list it, but Im an engineer, and I just dont have time. I have 5 buildings to liquidate, and one is 3 stories tall. Have to take some losses. This is a Hisense brand, which I prefer over Sony, Samsung, LG, etc. I LOVE Hisense TVs. They dont have the hidden cameras of the larger brands that record you. (OP Nightengale) The right edge (1/3 of the screen) is darker. Its still plenty watchable. I watched it for 2 weeks before I got around to buying another. Honestly, I was needing a TV with more HDMI inputs anyways, and I was just looking for an excuse to sell it when this happened. I sprayed a bunch of gnats a day before, and I think I got some water in the edge. The problem could go away when it dries, if it dries, but I really don't know. I just know its a 4K TV and the picture was absolutely beautiful, and now its darker on one side end. STILL SEEABLE just darker. Im including the remote. Its a Google Android Roku TV, but I never used either feature. I only used HDMI inputs mostly for gaming. I swear it was a year old!!! sigh.. oh well
The brown in the second pic is a reflection of a huge cardboard box thats in front of the TV. The picture is 100% uniform, and its still 4K, its just darker color on one end.
First $140 cash gets it. Its sold as is where is but AGAIN parts are usually cheap for Hisense. I read you might can massage the strip along the edge and it might go back to normal. We can plug it up and if you like what you see hand me $140 cash and its yours. Remote included.
