Simply light the fire-starter next to a small spacer (a stone, or a stick of wood from the box), then place the box over the fire-starter so that it maintains an air-gap underneath the box. The box serves as the kindling and also keeps the firewood well-grouped.
Burn-time is about 2.5 hours. (1) cubic foot of wood.
