We have recently refinished this stunning vintage mid-century china cabinet/hutch. Our affinity for vintage pieces stems not only from their exceptional craftsmanship but also from the unique stories they tell.
Following extensive research on the stamp and numbers located on the back of the cabinet, we discovered that it was manufactured by Bassett Furniture between the 1950s and 1965. Constructed from solid wood, this piece is in outstanding condition considering its age. Having had only one previous owner, it has been meticulously maintained and cared for. We decided to give it a one-of-a-kind makeover that would make it a showstopper.
It features sliding glass doors that can be removed, as well as slots/grooves on the shelves designed to hold and display china plates, as shown in the close-up photographs.
