This is a 6 year old stallion that is out of race bloodlines. We have owned him since he was 2 years old. He was not raced on the main track but raced locally for match racing. He is 16h tall, maybe a-little taller, I’ll have to measure him. He’s a big boy.
When we bought him we were given copies of his registration etc but never received the original papers for him. I contacted AQHA several months after purchasing him to check the status of his papers in 2022 and they advised I would need a transfer and pay out of pocket for the papers if the breeder did not. At the time a client owned him and just never cared to get the papers. So it is possible to get his papers on him if needed. Just at your own cost as I’m taking a loss on this horse.
This horse is gentle and easy to handle. We did use him to breed a few broodmares, which we did confirm with the vet that they took. So he if fertile.
He is only track broke at this time. We did trail ride him one time a few years back and he did fine with a western saddle. He will lead, load and tie anywhere. Great for baths. He likes attention. He’s great with hauling. He is shod all the way around. Good for farrier.
Only con is he likes to chew on wood in a stall as he gets bored. He was retired from racing a few months back and is ready for a new job. He would be a great barrel prospect as he has the speed and will to learn. He would also make a great breeding prospect for anyone’s program as he has a nice pedigree.
He was injured in August 2022 on the track. He was pushed into plastic piping at the fence line on the track after he left the gates which did go through the side of his chest and back out his left shoulder. He did receive vet care and after vet care treatment to keep the wound clean and rehabbed. He was cleared for racing again at the beginning of 2023 from the vet. He was able to regain his muscle ton and regenerate the tissue. He is sound as well. I have all the receipts and dates written down.
I am open to offers and am willing to offer him for breeding purposes as well for a smaller fee since he does not have his papers in hand.
