**Heritage Breed** Our breeding stock can be traced to a farm where the same line of chickens has been raised for almost 100 years. This means they are extremely hardy, parasite-resistant and have adapted perfectly to thriving in our local climate. --- These are not Tractor Supply chickens. ---
These Heritage Red chickens will have a more striking plumage than the Production Red you get from Tractor Supply, with deeper coloring and a smoother appearance, plus they have notably more docile personalities.
