Last week we posted this position and hired a promising team that starts this week. As of
Monday 3/30 we are still looking to hire one or two more people...
We never laid anyone off due to the weather / time of year, etc. Not even during Covid.
If you have good skills and a good work ethic, we are interested in you. No seasonal layoffs,
all year long, even throughout the winter and rainy seasons, our crew has full time work.
There is always at least 40 hours a week of work. Several are putting in (by their choice)
45 to 50 hours a week.
We are a small company that buys, renovates, rents and maintains apartments and houses for low income people
who don't receive subsidies. We currently have several projects underway and need to hire one or two good productive
worker(s) that are focused and dedicated and willing to work hard for a stable, consistent future.
You must be able to lift heavy materials such as doors, roofing etc.
Not constantly - but able to carry an 80 pound door, or 80 lb bag of concrete mix when needed.
Most of our projects are in the North part of Winston Salem, occasionally we do a project in an adjacent area.
Ideally we hope to find someone with Electric, plumbing, framing, HVAC, drywall etc experience.
Pay will be based on performance and skills, so as long as you do good work, you will be rewarded for being fast and focused.
You must be able to get along with and respect people of all races, religions, sexes, etc. We work around tenants
and all of our workers must respect everyone.
