Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as an Industrial Wash Technician/Media Blaster/Surface Cleaner. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the exterior and interior of tractor-trailers, the upkeep of commercial property surfaces and ensuring that all are services are handled with expert clean care and professionalism. This position plays a key part in maintaining the image and cleanliness standards of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
• Wash and detail the exterior of tractors and trailers using pressure washers, hoses, brushes, and cleaning solutions
• Clean interior trailer spaces as needed (may include sweeping and disinfecting)
• Remove dirt, grease, and road film from vehicles
• Apply wax or protective coatings when required
• Ensure proper disposal of wastewater and cleaning materials according to environmental regulations
• Perform routine inspections of washing equipment and report maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean and organized shop work area
• Follow safety procedures at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, job supplies used, and job completion status
• Document completed work, maintain parts box inventory daily and report any mechanical issues observed
Qualifications:
• Valid Driver’s License with CLEAN driving record REQUIRED
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Previous experience in vehicle or truck washing is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work in outdoor and wet conditions, including exposure to heat and cold
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
