Hello! My name is Nate. I own a nice 3 bedroom/2 bath home off Jonestown Rd (near the 421/Starbucks intersection), and ever since I bought it I've rented out my spare bedrooms as a way to offset bills. I have been at a point where I needed a room to rent, and so I feel like I offer a lot of extras into one lump sum, just like what I was looking for back then.

The room is about 12 x 10 with an ok-sized closet. You'll have the master bedroom with your own attached bathroom. The location can't be beat as you're minutes from Hanes Mall Blvd and the 421 on-ramp, which immediately diverges into business 40 and regular 40. Wal-Mart is around the corner, and Food Lion is also in the opposite direction. There's also a city-maintained park right in the middle of the neighborhood, and you're only 10 minutes walking distance from Brixx Pizza and that area.

Rent/Amenities:
$525/month includes include utilities, high-speed wifi, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and a Costco membership (I get one household member on my account for free). Additionally, and what I consider the X factor, I supply all common household items such as paper towels, laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc. This is intended to make you feel as at home as possible since you don't have to ask me if you can use something... it's already included in the rent. I'd like you to feel comfortable to use the whole house, so that means crash on the couch and watch TV, use the washer/dryer, if you're cooking and forgot something from the store, use it if I have it ... that kind of thing.

About me:
I'm a 33-year-old guy. I work in Greensboro managing a medical practice, so I have normal working hours M-F. I am happy to provide professional references so you can feel like this isn't a scam. I own another property that I rent out, and I can even provide references from those tenants as well as previous roommates here. They'll tell you this is a hassle-free place to live, that privacy is respected, and you're welcome to move out anytime with no penalty (although notice is appreciated). As far as hobbies, I enjoy board games, and have been getting into tennis and hiking/camping. There is no expectation that we hang out, but if you ever wanted to I'm down.

Expectations:
Really, I think we'll either click or we won't, and that's fine either way. But just to maybe give you a general idea of what I'm envisioning, here are a few expectations I'd have.

1) Mutual respect. Really, everything boils down to this. If I respect you, I'm not going to blare the TV at night, or at all really. I wouldn't throw away anything of yours, etc. I'd like the same from you. Basically, the golden rule.

2) No pets. I'm allergic to cats, and while I love dogs and really all animals, I'd prefer a clean house.

3) No visitors. Of course the occasional person will need to come over, and just let me know ahead of time. But I would prefer visitors to be a rare occurrence.

4) All common areas stay clean. I'm not a neat freak, but I don't leave food out, and I clean up after myself. You should be the same way.

Again, it all boils down to respecting each other and trusting each other.
