Here are the guidelines when it comes to buying your items:
- I buy to sell, so I will be offering less than the expected resale prices online.
- I will not pay very large amounts (e.g. $600-$800 for a Pioneer RT-707 or TEAC X-10R/X-1000R)
- The harder an item is to sell, the less I can offer (in some cases, the item is not accepted).
- Prices are NOT final until I have evaluated each item via basic testing. Any quotes given are just estimates until I take a look at the item.
- It doesn’t matter how much you may have paid for it, even years ago, or how much it was brand new or how much you might see it currently listed for online, it matters how much it is being purchased for used and how much I can sell it for. Average selling prices change overtime.
- Ever-changing marketing conditions also play a role in determining how much I can pay for an item.
Once again, I buy to sell, so I will not be paying very large amounts. This is for those who are just looking to get rid of their old tape decks and may need fast cash. If these guidelines cannot be readily agreed to, your only other option is to try to sell it yourself and wait and I wish you good luck!
